This new display, ๐‘ฎ๐™ช๐’‚๐™ง๐’…๐™ž๐’๐™œ ๐™…๐’๐™๐’ ๐‘ฉ๐™ง๐’๐™ฌ๐’, expands our current John Brown exhibit, bringing new artifacts and STORIES into the spotlight, including artifacts never publicly displayed connected to the men responsible for guarding John Brown during his final days. Highlights include an original pre-War letter written by Turner Ashby, along with a rare 1859 ruby ambrotype of one of Ashbyโ€™s Mountain Rangers, photographed during his time as a guard at John Brownโ€™s execution.
